In Italy and precisely on the wonderful island of Sicily there is the highest volcano in Europe, active and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013: yes, it is indeed him, Etna strong>. We will pass through the famous ski resort of Piano Provenzana and then descend onto Catania and its gulf. We will observe the extinct craters of Silvestri and the Valle del Bove where in 2002 the trail of lava razed the town of Zafferana Etnea to the ground. Perhaps the most beautiful part comes here: get closer to the window and look at the pearl of the island, Taormina, it probably gives its best from up here.
