What will you be able to see?
The route includes a tour of Etna to offer an immersive experience that leads to the discovery of the natural and geological wonders of the volcano.
The journey begins by crossing an eruptive fracture, a unique spectacle that shows the power of the volcano. You will experience unique scenarios and emotions! like driving through fields of solidified lava and black volcanic sand, being able to admire the trails left by past eruptions.
Continuing, the tour leads towards the explosive craters, formations that testify to the geological history of Etna. We will then reach another unmissable stop... a visit to a lava flow cave, a natural tunnel created by the passage of magma, which offers a fascinating insight into volcanic activity.
It doesn't end here! during the journey we will stop to admire the typical buildings of the area which represent an interesting aspect of local culture. We will continue the journey crossing lunar landscapes and "dagales", i.e. islands of vegetation surrounded by solidified lava.
The tour extends to the broom forests, typical plants of the slopes of the volcano, and pine forests, where the contrast between the dark lava and the green trees creates a panorama of rare beauty.
To ensure that your experience is perfect, we advise you to follow some small precautions!
Dress comfortably, wear closed shoes, clothes suitable for dusty terrain and variable weather conditions. Put on sunscreen! sun exposure during the tour can be intense, bring a hat, water and snacks.
It is important not to leave waste and to follow the guide's instructions to preserve the area and for your own safety.
