30-minute helicopter ride over L'Estartit

Or rather, you can fly over the surroundings of L'Estartit with our 30-minute helicopter trip that will take you to discover the mountainous area and the coast of this municipality of Girona. We start this tour at our flight school, located between the Medes Islands and the mouth of the Ter River, neighboring the Montgrí Massif. And from here we rise to contemplate from a bird's eye view our helicopter journey that will take us through:

We are waiting for you in our hangar and operations center, near the Montgrí Massif and next to the Ter River, in the L'Estartit aeroclub, from where we will begin our light plane flight, with a brief explanation about all the characteristics that will surround this aerial adventure.

Once on board the aircraft, we will head towards the Medes Islands to enter the interior and north of Girona, thus visualizing such renowned towns such as Empúries, Sant Pere Pescador or Roses. We will continue the flight towards Bajo Empordá to reach the Mediterranean again and enjoy some of its beaches, such as Isla Roja.

Begur, Llafranc or Palafrugell to head with the plane this time towards the south to enjoy Platja d' Aro , Calonge or Sant Feliu de Guíxols, from where we will head back to the air club, but not before flying over Llofriu, La Bisbal d'Empordá or Pals. You will come to our hangar located near the Montgrí massif. A privileged location if you like purely natural landscapes, between beaches and mountains. From the heights and under your feet, the Ter river. The coasts of Empuriabrava, the always magnificent Montgó and the islets of Farriola will not be missing.

While you observe, the pilot will indicate every detail of the areas that appear on the horizon. For example, Montgrí Castle, Red Island, Punta de Sa Creu... We will visit all those locations that are part of the best-known postcards of this beautiful town.

Throughout this extensive route we will also have to avoid restricted flight areas, as they are spaces where certain conditions exist that make the flight of our helicopters difficult.

This adventure is only suitable for those co-pilots who are not afraid of flights or heights, since the sensation of going up in a helicopter has absolutely nothing to do with that of riding in an airplane.
