Aeroclub L' Estartit we are a company dedicated to aerial activities since 1985. Since then there have been thousands of clients who, like you, once decided to come and try the adrenaline that is felt when piloting an ultralight, spotting wonderful landscapes from the sky, discovering the beauties of Girona.
We are made up of a great team, where professionals are qualified to teach you everything you need to know about handling the ultralight, in which you will experience unique moments. Our school is approved by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, where you can take the course and obtain the ULM pilot title.
In the course we offer you:
- Theoretical classes: With the appropriate documentation, you will receive instruction in the subjects of navigation, meteorology, regulations, aerodynamics, maneuvers, flight techniques, as well as teaching material.
- Practical classes: On flights lasting approximately 30 minutes, you will receive instruction for a period of approximately 15 to 20 hours. We include navigation exercises, trips to other flying fields and orientation practices.
On the other hand, we take walks through the Alt i Baix Empordà . Flying over the mouth of the Ter River, Cadaqués, Illes Medes, Playas de Pals, Cap de Creus and L'Estartit, among many other places. Even if you ask us, we can organize a tailor-made excursion to where you want to go.

At Aeroclub L'Estartit we don't care if you prefer the sea or the mountains, if you prefer the morning or the night... what we want is for you to come with the greatest enthusiasm to travel with us part of the Costa Brava on a helicopter ride that will be unforgettable.
Ourflight center is located just over 1 km from theGirundian Mediterranean. Since we opened our hangar in 1985 we have worked with great pilots who, in addition to providing you with a completely safe flight, will put the cherry on top of your experience through their knowledge about aviation and the places we will fly through.
One passenger in addition to the pilot may be on the helicopter. This is panoramic so the view of the areas to visit becomes fantastic. These will depend on the option regarding the duration you decide to do:
- 15 minutes. Perfect for a first contact or even to lose the fear of flying. Medes Islands, Torroella del Montgrà or Punta de las Salinas among other enclaves will be the ones we visit.
- 30 minutes. Montgrà Castle, the islets of Farriola, Rocamora... these will be some of the points we will see on this route.
- 45 minutes. Empuriabrava, Roses, Tamariu will be some of the places that we can visit from the helicopter.
- 60 minutes. The one-hour route through the interior of the province and the coast will go through places such as Feliu de GuÃxols, Santa Cristina d'Aro or Sant Climent de Peralta.
- 75 minutes. Palamós, El Mas Pinell, Isla Roja, San Sierra... 1 hour and a quarter will never have gone by so quickly.
- 90 minutes. Those most eager for adventure will choose this alternative through Empùries, Beleser, La Vall de Santa Creu, Pujolar...
Any of the options is perfect for you or a gift, but you always have to keep in mind that the person who enjoys the trip will have to be over 10 years old and in no case exceed 120 kilos.

The capacity of the plane is designed for two people, the professional pilot who is in charge of the flight and you. The person who is going to climb must be over 10 years old (as long as they come accompanied by their legal representative) and not exceed 120 kg.
