Guided tour in Toledo El Greco and the Jewish Quarter

Go back to the 16th century, without leaving Toledo, thanks to this fabulous guided tour that will take us to the times of El Greco.

During this century, Toledo was a magnificent Imperial City, by order of Charles I. Thanks to this, great artists proliferated, such as El Greco, among others.

We start in the town hall square, near the Jewish quarter. We will go to the Plaza del Salvador, the place where the Jewish Quarter begins. This is indicated to us with inscriptions in Spanish, English and Hebrew.

We will wander through this neighborhood. We will pass by a church whose interior is a masterpiece by El Greco: "The Burial of Count Orgaz".

We will arrive at the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, in Mudejar style and dating from the 13th century. We will see its transformation over the centuries.

We will finish by visiting theEl Greco Museum, to admire works such as "Plan and View of Toledo" or "The Tears of San Pedro".
