Entrance to the Clérigos Museum and Tower

You cannot end your visit to Porto without passing by the emblematic Torre dos Clérigos, an 18th century monument that, together with the church of the same name to which it belongs, was designed by the Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni, a Baroque icon of the time.

The tower is 76 meters high, which you can climb via its 225 steps, which will take you to its bell tower. The climb will be progressive and you will be able to peek through the small windows, an anticipation of what awaits you at the top.

From the top, you will have a 360º panoramic view of the city of Porto, which is wonderful. Admire from above the characteristic red roofs, the historic center and even the mouth of the Douro River in Foz do Douro.

After visiting the tower, you will be able to access the various collections that the Clérigos Museum houses, including the Irmandade dos Clérigos Collection and the Christus Collection, as well as temporary collections that are always changing.
