Travel to the center of the earth and enjoy one of the best salt mines in Portugal. We are located in Loulé, about 15 kilometers from Faro.
In this activity you can learn everything you want and more about the history of the Techsalt Rock Salt Mine, as well as the way it is extracted, the way of conservation and work of the mine or the marketing process of salt.
For approximately 2 hours, together with our expert guides: the mine mascot Fininho and his companion Salty, you will be able to walk more than 1 kilometer > at more than 200 meters underground, you will be one step away from the core of the earth!
One of the curiosities of this mine is that it is still in operation! In addition, you can delight in the Klaus Zylla exhibition dedicated to the patron saint of miners: Santa Barbara.You will be able to see several works of art made by this great and magnificent artist.
In addition, you will have protective equipment which we will give you before starting the tour. This protective equipment includes a helmet, flashlight and reflective vest.
