Get to know Medieval Navarra thanks to this guided excursion through the most picturesque towns of the Foral Community on a route of about 11 hours in which you will tour towns like Ujué and Olite with our local guide.
The route will begin at your place of accommodation since we will pick you up there at 9 in the morning in our vehicle with 9 seats, so it will be a practically private excursion with a very small group where attention will be totally personalized.
The first point to visit will be Ujué, recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain, where we can visit places as special as the Romanesque church of Santa María, built in the 11th century and composed of a temple-fortress that will not leave you indifferent.
The Royal Palace of Olite will be the next destination. Listed as the First Medieval Wonder of our country in 2008, we will discover inside secrets of the ancient royalty that reigned over the Navarrese province.
We will make a stop so you can eat and stop along the way to discuss the best places visited.
We will leave for the Castle of Javier, famous for being the birthplace of the Patron Saint of Navarra: San Francisco Javier. It will be time to review his life and work through the history of this famous missionary. Our guide will explain it to us as we tour the fortress.
The last place we will visit will be the Leyre Monastery, where we will enter the convent to visit its cloister, the crypt and the abbey church, where some of the most outstanding sacred works are located.
Once the visit to the monastery is over, we will return to Pamplona around 8 p.m. to put an end to a day that will have been spectacular for you.
