Get to know the second most populated town in Huesca with this guided tour through Monzón, a municipality located in the Cinca Medio Region. Over approximately 2 hours, you will discover the most emblematic sites of the hand of an expert guide. With this route you will have time to learn, enjoy and explore with the company of your family and friends.
The experience will begin in the morning, at 10, in the conservatory of the Aragonese city. There you will meet the rest of the group and the person who will guide you during the tour. We chose this building as a meeting point because it is a building with history, which was originally used, in the Middle Ages, as a hospital for pilgrims.
We will continue the journey arriving at the Plaza Mayor, where the town hall of Renaissance architecture is located. It is in this space where the well-known festival of "The baptism of the mayor" is held every year, considered an Asset of Cultural Interest.
We will continue walking through the old town to go to the Cathedral of Santa María del Romeral, possibly built on an old mosque, it was used as the headquarters of the Cortes of Aragon.
Finally, we will end the trip through time at the Templar Castle, (entrance to this is not included, it is purchased at the entrance) - a military fortress located in a strategic location. During the visit we will make a stop to rest a little and to try the most exquisite sweet in the region: the Templars of Monzón.
