With barely 150 inhabitants, Alarcón is today one of the most important Historical and Artistic Sites of the Middle Ages. Located in Castilla la Mancha, this town preserves great cultural value.

For this reason we do not want you to miss the opportunity to visit and discover this historical gem. Throughout the tour you will have the option of walking through one of the most important medieval fortresses in Spain, when the town had its splendor. We will also discover the historic center, where there are cultural treasures such as the South doorway of Esteban Jamete and the main altarpiece; Both are located in the parish of Santa María.

Within this we can see the Jesús Mateo Contemporary Art Center (in the old church of San Juan Bautista), we will also get to see the Paseo de Ronda del Castillo, which today is renovated and serves as a Tourism Parador. Finally we will stop at the church of Santa Trinidad, declared a Site of Cultural Interest, there we will see its Gothic representation such as: the work of the painter Jesús Mateo with a large painting, in addition to seeing the Castle of Alfonso VIII, which no one conquered.
