If you are in Madrid and want to see the best of La Mancha in one day, we can make you live a beautiful experience visiting the Windmills, the magnificent Belmonte Castle and a beautiful winery where you will taste their wines. We will complete the tour with a good typical La Mancha meal.
We will leave from Madrid around 9 in the morning (Paseo del Prado esq. Calle Montalbán, next to Plaza Cibeles). We will board the bus that will take us to the Cuenca town of Belmonte, where, after an hour and a half we will arrive to visit its 15th century Castle.
After discovering the magic of this unique fortress, active today, it is time to taste the wines of La Mancha. To do this, we will visit the Mont Reaga Wineries, we will see how one of the best wines is made and we will learn how to taste.
When lunch time arrives, we will go to a typical La Mancha inn, where we can eat different local dishes and rest.
We will end the afternoon visiting the Mota del Cuervo Mills, which still preserve the original machinery and, if time permits, you can even see them in operation grinding.
We conclude our tour by returning to Madrid to arrive around 7 p.m.
