The Tour lasts 2 days, in which we begin our adventure with a visit to the archaeological zone of Palenque, in the state of Chiapas, continuing our journey > until you reachSan Cristóbal de las Casas.

We encourage you to enjoy this exclusive walk with a special focus on Cocoa beyond chocolate. The first day discovers the functional use of the divine elixir, in pre-Hispanic times. On a complete and professional interpretive hiking walk with a certified and specialized guide, in the high evergreen jungle of the National Park and Archaeological Zone of Palenque. And the second day on a delightful walk through the city of >San Cristóbal de Las Casas savor the world of chocolate, both traditional and fine modern confectionery, from the tropics to the high mountains, a journey from the remote past to the near future of cocoa.

The tour has the following itinerary:

-First day: First thing in the morning, we will do a short photography course followed by a 3-hour guided tour of the ruins of Palenque. At the end, we will do an interpretive hike through the jungle knowing the fauna and flora of this tropical ecosystem. Afterwards, we will have lunch in Palenque to take the road to San Cristóbal de Las Casas, pausing in the first hour to see a Mayan peasant garden, we will continue two more hours, to take a stretching, bathing and coffee break, in Ocosingo for 30 minutes. At the end we go to San Cristóbal de las Casas.

- Second day: We are going to take a guided tour of the streets and main attractions of SCDLC. We will see its typical sweets market, the chocolate museum, the medicine museum, among others. The day ends with an educational talk and group dinner to learn aboutEl Cacao.
