The Poça da Cadela mine is located near the village of Regoufe and currently more than a dozen gallery entrances can be seen. The tour we offer you begins with a visit to the Regoufe Mining Complex, one of the best known in the Arouca area. During the Second World War it was used in military applications as it was awarded to the Allied forces.
Don't be left wanting to explore the mines inside, with us it is possible to do so. We will provide you with the helmet, the flashlight and the necessary material to access the mine. In addition, our guides will explain everything you need to know before embarking on this adventure. To make the experience even more complete, the route continues along a pedestrian walk through the so-called Magic Mountains.
Our route ends with a visit to the remote and unpopulated village of Drave. A curious abandoned place in the Sierra de Freita in Arouca that was built of slate.
