The Poça da Cadela mine is located near the village of Regoufe and currently more than a dozen gallery entrances can be seen. The tour we offer you begins with a visit to the Regoufe Mining Complex, one of the best known in the Arouca area. During World War II, it was used in military applications as it was awarded to the Allied forces.
Don't feel like exploring the mines inside, with us you can do that. We will provide the helmet, the flashlight and the necessary material to access the mine. Furthermore, our guides will explain everything you need to know before embarking on this adventure. To make the experience even more complete, the route continues on a pedestrian route through the so-called Magic Mountains.
Our route ends with a visit to the remote and unpopulated village of Drave. A curious abandoned place in the Serra de Freita in Arouca that was built in slate.
