This is an introductory session to winter mountaineering (level I), which we will do in the heart of the mountains of Madrid. We will learn to climb through the ice!
We will be in the mountains all day, so you should bring something to eat and water.
In this course we will work on the different techniques to progress in winter mountaineering, the use of ice axes and crampons, self-arrest techniques and notions of nevology, to know how to move in each type of snow.
