Climbing route in Fresnidiello rock in Sotres

For this occasion we will go to this colossal mountain range to face the Peña de Fresnidiello and we will carry out the Royal Separation section in a journey of between 1 hour or 1 :30 hours.

A short but exciting climbing route awaits us, as it is very aerial, has spectacular rock conditions and is equipped with a total of 6 pitches. Furthermore, its approach is brief and simple. The first pitch begins with a crack that emerges from a grassy canal. We will ascend here until we reach the first parabolt, which is quite far away, so from the beginning we will start in a quite challenging way.

In the second section we find a really exciting crash, so much so that people colloquially refer to it as "a galactic crash." We will see some ridges and steps that are a true gem, not only because of how well equipped they are, but because of their amazing verticality. We will continue ascending until we reach a meeting where we can recover a little.

From the third pitch is when the whole panorama changes drastically and for the better, since now everything will be much more adrenaline-inducing since the equipment becomes scarce and simple. After the previous meeting we continued climbing and went to the left to find a cliff from which a perfect channel emerged to climb.

After overcoming the canal, the fourth section awaits us, and this time we will go out to the right in search of the only parabolt, this will be in one part of the route that is completely vertical again. Upon reaching itand continuing to climb, we join the fifth pitch where we find the route equipment to the left and a straight nail. With the help of these materials we will continue to ascend straight.

To finish we face the sixth pitch, which represents the best way to finish, since it presents a strong drop and has a bridge made withcables. We will overcome this length caressing the wall with our chest, completely lying down due to the verticality it presents, and we will continue like this until we reach the roof where the last meeting awaits us and where we can enjoy dream views. Finally, to descend, we will do it in the best way, with the help of rappelling.
