Our 30-shot clay pigeon shooting session is the perfect way to disconnect from your phone, your TV and your responsibilities and enjoy a traditional country pursuit.
It’s also an excellent way to spend time in the great outdoors. Our shooting ground is set in the rolling greenery of the Mendip Hills, Somerset, just 25 minutes from the centre of Bristol.
Treat this as a taster session if you haven’t tried CPS before, or an opportunity to improve if this isn’t your first time. We can start off with some very easy targets and make it progressively more challenging. The session will last around an hour, depending on your shoot rate.
Our expert instructors work with people of all abilities, genders and ages, right the way down to 7 years old. Safety equipment is included, so you just need to come dressed for the weather.

Deal overview
Grab them and head for the Chew Valley in Somerset - less than 10 miles from central Bristol - because we’ve got a clay pigeon shooting session for two which is the stuff of legend.
You’ll get 30 clays each and use our shotguns and safety equipment. We are able to make some of these very easy and others pretty tricky, so we can adapt the level of the experience to suit beginners and more experienced shooters.
Whatever the difficulty, we’ll get the best out of you. Our experienced, licensed and qualified instructors will offer bespoke tuition to both participants, making sure that those clays get blasted to smithereens.
This can be a taster shoot for novices, a couple’s date with a difference or a parent-child bonding session. The minimum age is 7 years old, so it could even be grandparent and child! We have a well-equipped shooting ground to make sure all visitors are comfortable.
