We invite you to join us at the Tarascon tourist office which is less than an hour from Toulouse. Your guide will be delighted to welcome you, you will be able to get to know each other together in a warm atmosphere. The time will then come for him to brief you in order to present this science which studies caves and underground . He will explain to you how the activity will take place and will give you all the equipment necessary for this incredible day.
You can then set off for a 10-minute approach walk towards the cave of the mountain where you will spend your day discovery of caving. You will evolve all day in the cave. We will picnic in the cavity at midday for total immersion.
All adventurers and explorers are welcome from 14 years old.
You will discover the Hot water sinkhole of Tarascon-sur-Ariège. Perfect mix between narrow passages and large rooms, you can also enjoy a swim in the river of the cavity!
The entrance into the cave is via a abseiling descent for a beautiful start to the activity. What better way to introduce yourself to vertical descent? Once in the cavern, you will venture on all fours through the cramped passages before reaching the large rooms absolutely sumptuous strong>.
A magical corner of water awaits you at the end of this cave. Anyone who wishes can enjoy a swim in this clear water at 20 degrees!
In short, this day will allow you to experience an unforgettable moment by introducing you to rope techniques. You can enjoy an exceptional swimming underground, and a picnic under the mountain.
