Os Lucas Ravine in Oros Bajos Initiation 3h

The fun Os Lucas ravine is located in the town of Oros Bajos, in the beautiful Huesca municipality of Biescas. It depends on the group, but it usually descends in about 3-4 hours. Don't worry as it doesn't require a lot of experience and is perfect for an intermediate level adventurer who, for example, wants to improve their rappelling technique. strong>, since the descent of the Os Lucas ravine offers the opportunity to perfect this mountain technique.

Well, once we are all at the meeting point, we have finished with the presentations and you become owners of the equipment and the corresponding clothing that we will provide you, we will get going. The approach to this ravine is estimated to take 30 minutes and we will do it on the left side of the ravine. Once we have ascended enough to see the river, we will make a short descent to a dam.

And here comes the main course, we are ready and with all the notions well explained of what the Os Lucas ravine can offer us. As we have explained previously, this canyoning route through Biescas offers a thousand options. First, we can descend by rappel (perfect wall for those who want to learn or improve) or go directly into the bowels of the canyon.

We will walk along a short path surrounded by water and rock, which leads to another 13-meter rappel. But, halfway down, with the waterfall accompanying us, you have the option of making a jump.

We follow the course of the water until we reach the most fun part of the descent of the Os Lucas ravine and again, you are presented with three equally exciting options. You can continue rappelling, jump down a fun 10-meter slide or, for the bravest, take a jump. 8 meters. For the adventurer's greatest enjoyment, any of these options are repeat and play, you can jump again, rappel or jump without problem.

And to say goodbye to this piece of adventure full of emotion, thisravine descent gives us two rappels, the first is an impressive 30 meters in which we will be accompanied by the beautiful waterfalls of the canyon. The second and to finish the descent, is 16 meters high.
