If you are wise enough to join us, you will meet one of our qualified instructors at Betws Y Coed. Not far from here is Afon Ddu, the breathtaking gorge where we will be scrambling, and here we will brief you and ensure you are kitted up with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.
Snowdonia is filled with so much beauty and wonder, which this gorge will live up to, and scrambling is the best way to immerse yourself in it.
Gorge scrambling is non-stop fun, and your instructor will guide you and teach you using their local expertise and experience to ensure the ultimate adventure with plenty of rocks to scramble over, plunge pools to jump into and swim in, and so much more.
The minimum age limit for this activity is 14, and a parent or guardian must accompany any under 18s.
No experience is required to take part; all you need to do is to bring some swimwear and a long-sleeved layer for under the wetsuit, thick socks, a pair of sturdy trainers, a big towel and shorts to wear over the wetsuit. You can also bring a waterproof camera to capture the best moments and some suncream for warmer days.
