Canyoning level I in the Calera river 3 hours

If you've been wanting to try canyoning for a while, we can't think of a better way to get started than the Calera ravine, a progression of about 3 hours designed for any type of person. and also, in an environment that will amaze you with the beauty that surrounds it.

It is a dry ravine that can be crossed from the Covalanas Bridge, very close to the Cantabrian town of Ramales de la Victoria. Its level of difficulty is low so it can be easily completed in about 3 hours.

At the foot of Mount Zalama, the Calera River has two clearly differentiated areas where we will use ropes to descend the vertical sections up to 5 times. But it will be in the second rappel where we will find the most amazing section of the entire ravine since it is about 15 meters high span>. Pure adrenaline!

The second part of the ravine is characterized by its large blocks of rock that we will have to unclimb, although it is not always the same since each year these blocks move for natural reasons. But in total there is no more than 150 meters of difference in altitude.

We will carry all the technical material that we are going to use, taking charge at all times of putting on the safety material and telling you the best way to progress through the ravine. That is why it is perfect to come with your family or live an adventure with your loved ones, practicing exercise and enjoying the exuberance of nature in our province.
