- Canyoning lasts 2 hours. You should plan on an approach walk of 15 minutes and a return walk of 20 minutes. The activity lasts a total of 3 hours.
Deal overview
The exotic course takes place in a canyon perfectly suited for an initiation, the Tayrac canyon. Bordered by forests, mountains and reddish rocks, you will be speechless at such a view. You will walk along the clear waters of the Dourbie. This aquatic hike will teach you all the techniques and secrets of canyoning (except the use of ropes).
You can try out jumps from the top of the rocks by landing in the water, slide down natural slides along the canyon, swim in the rapids clear waters. A few small rappelling descents also await the bravest as well as funny "washing machines".
This descent is suitable for everyone aged 8 and over, requiring no prior experience. All crossings can be avoided.
This is an ideal experience to enjoy with family or between friends. It's an opportunity to escape your everyday life by sharing an exceptional moment together that is out of the ordinary.
All technical and protective equipment will be loaned to you. It meets standards and is regularly checked. Remember to bring water, something to snack on, a swimsuit and towel and a pair of sneakers. We also recommend a pair of gloves.
The canyon is located in Tayrac, very close to the village of Saint-Jean-du-Bruel. It is accessible from Millau and Le Viganin 40 minutes by car and is approximately 1 hour from Montpellier.
