1 hour horseback ride near Lake Pareloup

Want a sporting activity in the great outdoors and in contact with equines? We have exactly what you need! Come ride a horse and visit our beautiful department of Aveyron.

Our endearing and well-trained horses await you on the hills of the commune of Arvieu, between Pont-de-Salars and Millau. In this green setting typical of the Aveyron landscapes, our instructor welcomes you mainly during the school holidays and reserves for you a relaxing horseback ride on the surrounding hiking trails.

Lasting one hour, the activity takes place according to the following stages:

• We will pick up the horses from the meadow, then we will prepare them together. Under the watchful eye of the instructor, you will be guided through each step, but it is you who will take care of your own steed: the perfect recipe for forming a empathy bond with the mount!

• When we are ready, we will saddle up and travel the paths of the Pareloup region, known for its lake and its preserved nature. On the program, a succession of breathtaking landscapes which will make you say "wow" with enthusiasm when you cross them at a walk, a trot or a gallop.

• At the end of the equestrian journey, you will be invited to take care of the horseand return it to the meadow yourself.

Please note: wearing sports sneakers and long pants is mandatory to carry out the activity. We welcome all rider profiles, from beginners to the most experienced, and adapt the difficulty of the ride according to the level of the group.

Everyone saddle up to discover the splendid wild nature of the Pareloup region! In the heart of the Aveyron department, between Millau and Rodez, ourriding instructor Cassandra will meet you for atwo-hour horseback riding, to share with friends or family.

You will be welcomed directly into the meadow where the horses graze in freedomand invited to choose your mountbased on your level and the bond you feel with it. We offer you a 100% immersive experience, which will make you experience the bond of symbiosisuniting the rider and his steed: before you get into the saddle, the instructor will explain to you how to prepare your horseand how to equip yourself for the ride.

Once you're comfortable, let's go on a small group excursion! The route leads us to the discovery of the charming village of Arvieu, visible from the wooded hills that surround it, and the artificial lake of Pareloup, nestled in the hollow of a plateau hollowed out by the waters. Lasting 2 hours, the ride gives you plenty of time to stroll under the trees, try different gaits and learn more about riding techniques from a passionate professional.

Our horseback ride is an ideal way to relax in the company of our passionate instructor and lover of equestrian tourism. During this walk, you can lean against our kind horses, very calm and used to children.

This 3-hour session will allow you, beforehand, to groom the horse and prepare your mount so that the first contact with your new walking companion takes place in the best conditions.
You can then ride a horse and go on an adventure. A moment of pure pleasurewhere you will contemplate the magnificent landscapes that our town offers, in the heart of fauna and flora. An idyllic moment to recharge your batteries and get some fresh air. This walk will offer you unforgettable moments with family or friends, where you will have the opportunity to cross the forests of Arvieu to reach the Lac de Pareloup.

Once arrived, you will enjoy a swimming stop in the azure water of the lake and admire the sumptuous view overlooking the Pareloup Islands and its surrounding vegetation.
At the end of our tour, we will take the time to take care of the horses and pamper them!
