Descent of the Viboli ravine in Ponga 5 hours

In the village of Viboli, within the Asturian council of Ponga and perfectly boxed in on the Leonese-Asturian border, we find the descent of the Viboli ravine , the perfect place to release tons of adrenaline if you are a canyoner with some distance looking for new adventures. It is a canyoning route of 5 hours long, very aquatic and filled with countless challenges that will make your pulse accelerate as if it were the first time you practice this adventure sport.

A day of canyoning through the Viboli ravine is non-stop, from start to finish we will enjoy a journey full of fun challenges and natural attractions that will give us just what we were looking for , an itinerary with which to change the routine. This ravine is excavated by the Sella River and develops within the Beyos Gorge itself, a long and deep canyon in the middle of the Cantabrian Mountains which, in addition to the fun it promises, gives us a unique landscape.

The beginning of the Viboli ravine is with a descent of about 4 meters after the Agüera bridge. After this first descent we come across another, but this time 2 meters, and we will overcome it with a fixed rope installation. Once this part is completed comes a short injection of adrenaline with a rappelling descent of about 8 meters high. It will be the perfect altitude to prepare for what is coming, because we still have rappelling descents to do and this is the smallest.

Once we have crossed this gap of 8 meters we continue to come across another descent that will later introduce us to a succession of 3 rappelling descents: the first of 10 meters, the second of 18 meters and the third of 9. The second, in addition to being The highest one is also adorned by a quite slippery slide down which we will slide at full speed to continue.

We then continue to find a more enjoyable and simple part, but which is undoubtedly one of our favorite sections, a sequence of two other natural slides, each 3 meters long. From here the end of the ravine loomsof Viboli and to do this we will have to avoid another descent with a fixed rope that is sandwiched between the end of this canyoning route and that after passing it leaves us at the foot of a 36-meter abyss meters of height that we will pass with a final rappelling descent divided into two, thus ending this canyoning route so complete.
