For all of you who want to start canyoning, we encourage you to start in the Santa Baia ravine, located in A Coruña. Specifically, it is located in the Mazaricos Town Hall, and is characterized by being aquatic and with abundant vegetation, where almost no sunlight enters.
The starting point will be the town of Serra de Soutes, which is very close to Santiago de Compostela and Pontevedra. There, you will meet a qualified monitor who will be in charge of guiding the group and helping each one of you in the descent in complete safety.
We will bring you the specific equipment: neoprene (one or two pieces), neoprene socks, and an approved helmet; but you must wear appropriate sports shoes, trekking or canyoning, suitable for crossing wet areas without problems.
The ravine has a level of difficulty for beginners, adapted to all audiences and with a very easy technical level, although it requires good physical condition. The route will be rocky and difficult to access, which has pools, slides and jumps from 2 to 6 meters high, although it is not mandatory to do them.
However, we believe that if you dare to come you should not let yourself be dominated by fear, dare with everything!
