Deal overview
The Dordogneis a 483 km long river which runs through six departments and three regions. It is the most beautiful river in France and its basin has been classified as a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This is the ideal place for canoeing. The activity location is located in Carsac-Aillac, 1 hour 30 minutes from Montauban.
For this activity, we will meet you directly at our base, in Carsac-Aillac. Here, you will be welcomed by our team who will explain the activity to you and give you your equipment. Once you have put your personal belongings in your waterproof container, you will board your boat. You will then leave for the Dordogne and sail on a course accessible to all with small currents.
During your canoe trip, you will admire a curve in the river called Cingle de Montfort, offering you an exceptional view point over the strong>castleand the cliffs. You will also pass by the Falaise de Caudon and under a bridge, at Vitrac. At the end of the activity, you will arrive in Cénac, a small town located in Gironde, and you will return to the starting point with a bus.
Good to know:
- You can do this activity from April to October.
- It is necessary to know how to swim 25 m and to be able to submerge underwater.
