This is a fairly simple descent, accessible to everyone, young and old. It takes you on the Vézère and makes you admire the beauty of nature that envelops the Vézère valley. A 9 km route awaits you, which is equivalent to 1.5 to 2 hours of navigation. From the river, he will show you the Château de Marzac. Located in Tursac, this is a must-see in the valley. You will be able to see it and admire it easily, because it overlooks the Vézère at an altitude of up to around 60 m.
You will also be able to discover La Madeleine, this village rich in culture and history that you will discover. You will pass by the Grand Roc cave, then the Laugerie archaeological site, to finally reach our leisure center in Les Eyzies. Furthermore, this will be both the point of departure and return.
Procedure:
You will go to the town of Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil, where you will find our leisure center. The latter is an hour's drive from Périgueux, but also from Brive-la-Gaillarde. Once you arrive, theinstructors will take care of you instantly. You will therefore have a briefing explaining the route and the safety measures, then you will choose your boat.
Depending on your reservation, we have single or two-seater kayaks. Also. There are two types of kayaks, open ones and closed ones that cover your legs. The rest of the equipment will then be given to you so that you can finally take the shuttle bus which will take you to the starting point. Once the 9 km have been covered, you will give the equipment to the instructors while telling them about your adventure.
