Descend the Alto Eo by canoe San Tirso de Abres

It's time to move on to the next adventure, and we have a perfect one waiting for you in the surroundings of San Tirso de Abres. Let's go down the Alto Eo!

This crossing is expected to be completed in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. It is a route of little difficulty, so anyone who wants can come, with a moderately good physical condition, even children, if they are 10 years old or older.

It is an experience that can be done any day between the months of August and October, although since March we have also done it on Mondays and Thursdays. As exits are very limited, it is a perfectly maintained natural environment. In addition, we take absolute care on each route so as not to harm this ecosystem in any way.

We will navigate with the canoes through areas of crystal clear waters. They are calm waters with some rapids from time to time, without difficulty. As we advance, we can contemplate the trees in the area, such as ash trees, alders or salgueiros. In addition, we will surely come across a multitude of birds of species such as herons, kingfishers, cormorants, thrushes, blackbirds or sandpipers. If we're lucky, we might even see some otters!
