RIB Charter Trip in Salcombe for 50 minutes

Salcombe is not only a famous town in Devon for crab fishing, but also for its incredible dreamy coasts. You can now discover them booking our Rib Ride experience for 50 minutes! 

This is an incredible adventure for all the family as it is not an age limit to take part in it. The activity itself is for 8 people as a minimum and, right after we provide the safety briefing and you have put on the buoyancy aids and the wetsuit that we provide, we'll be ready to go!

We usually visit Prawle point, which is a location from the National Trust where you can spot a medieval chapel that has stayed the same since its origin. From there, we'll be driving along the coastline back to Salcombe at almost 12 kilometers per hour and, during the journey, you'll be able to enjoy the fantastic water conditions of South Devon and beautiful species like seals and crabs.

You should bring your oldest pair of shoes and, most importantly, sunscreen! You will be under the sun the whole session, so you must protect yourself! Apart from that, passion is what you should carry!

We also have the great news that we have different areas where you can park your vehicle. You can choose between the Whitestrand carpark, where you are able to leave your car for a whole hour; or at Batson parking, where your car can stay longer! In addition to all these facilities, we would like to mention that the boat's fuel is included in the price!

What do you need to take part in this great adventure where you will fall madly in love with this little town in South Devon? Pay attention and take notes!

First, you must come as a group of 8 people. From family to friends, you are all welcome. You don't need to be any particular age, as this is a very safe activity perfectly designed for all! In fact, we will provide a briefing and we will inform you about the rules that you must follow during the whole time.

Equipment is also included, so helmets, wetsuits (we have Summer and Winter wetsuits!) and helmets are on us. Fuel too and yes, we mention this topic because there are many other companies where it isn't! You must bring close pair of shoes and that would be all.

What else can we tell you about this adventure? Our drive will take us to incredible venues like Prawle, where a breathtaking medieval church stands, and Devon's cliffs where lighthouses are still working! You will be able to spot the amazing marine wildlife of the region. Did you know that Salcombe is not only the house of crabs but also of seals and jellyfish?

To be part of the activity, there is no particular limit. Age is ok with us, so you can bring your children. This is a very safe adventure and, as we take it quite seriously and pay attention to details, we will provide a safety briefing right after your arrival. We will also provide the equipment to guarantee a comfortable day with us: from helmets, buoyancy aids to wetsuits that can change according to the weather and the season. 

From our meeting point at Salcombe Harbour, we will be visiting South Devon from the water. As we have mentioned before, you'll be able to see the richness of our wildlife, but also architectural treasures like the medieval church that stands at the top of Prawle. 

How should you be dressed? In comfortable clothes and close, old shoes. Don't forget to apply sunscreen!
