This junior archery taster session is an excellent introduction to an exciting sport that can teach kids discipline in a fun way through learning to remain patient, focused and precise. These are all critical parts of archery that can be transferred into many aspects of life.

No experience is required for this under-18 session, but all participants must be at least ten years old and 4ft high. For those over 18's, you can check out our adult price equivalent for this activity.

Our activity centre, where we have offered a range of target sports across 40 acres of countryside for over 30 years, is located in Riseley near Bedford.

All of our instructors are deeply passionate about archery and have vast experience teaching people of all abilities, so you will be in the best hands and are sure to make immense progress and build a firm foundation of skills that you can use to continue this passion into the future.

The session will begin with a safety briefing, a supply of bows and arrows, and various targets laid out ready for shooting practice. You probably won't be a master archer at first, but as your confidence and skills grow, you will hit the target more and might even hit a bullseye before the session ends.
