We run a training school at Sywell Aerodrome where you can embark on an exciting adventure over the Northamptonshire countryside in one of our two-seat aircraft, which could be the Piper PA28 G-BAHF or Cessna 152 G-CINA.
This lesson gives you the unique opportunity to learn from a professional flight instructor and gain valuable flight time in the pilot's seats that will take your knowledge and ability to perform basic manoeuvres to a new level.
Your instructor will brief you before taking off, and while you will be in control for the vast majority of the session, they will guide and assist you where necessary, and you will receive a debriefing after landing.
The 30 minutes you will spend in the air is plenty of time to learn more about the controls and improve your skills immensely.
As our instructors are highly experienced at training pilots, we can offer expert advice on what course to take so you will leave with a better understanding of whether to go for the LAPL or PPL, but whatever you choose, this flight time can count towards your license.

2 Seat Trial Flight at Sywell Aerodrome for 1h
Deal overview
This trial flight can be an important step in your journey as a pilot by providing you with an improved repertoire of skills and a unique sense of euphoria that you can only get from flying through the air.
The lesson will last around one hour, and you will get to control the aircraft for most of that time with one of our fully qualified flight instructors at your side instructing and guiding you not only on this adventure but towards becoming a more proficient pilot.
As a LAPL or PPL training school, we know a thing or two about gaining a private pilot license so our instructors can point you towards the perfect course for you.
We have a range of light aircraft in our fleet, and for this session, we use our two-seat aeroplanes which are the Piper PA28 G-BAHF and Cessna 152 G-CINA which are both brilliant to fly and will provide excellent flying practice.
The skills you learn with us will stay with you for life, as will the memories of soaring over many of Northamptonshire's top sights and may even feature an aerial view of the famous Silverstone race track.
