When you arrive on site, we’ll get you signed in then introduce you to an experienced pilot who will be your flight instructor. They’ll talk you through the pre-flight checks, before taking you into the skies. They can then give you control of the aircraft for some of the flight!
Your chariot through the heavens will be a lightweight, manoeuvrable, two-seater plane - something like a Piper or Cessna. These are excellent machines but they can be a little cramped. If you’re worried about space, we can upgrade you to a four-seater aircraft.

You can do it right here in Wolverhampton! We are a flight school based at Halfpenny Green Airport and we offer flying lessons to members of the public, including 60-minute trial flights.
We have a fleet of light aircraft and usually choose two-seater craft for these lessons, though four-seaters are available for very big or tall customers. Our planes are well made, well maintained machines, usually from the Cessna and Piper manufacturers.
You’ll be guided through this one-hour experience by a competent, qualified pilot. After the pre-flight checks, you’ll join them in the cockpit and take off as a passenger. Once airborne, the pilot can give you flight instructions and allow you to take control of the plane!
