Deal overview

As the scenario of the Battle of the Ebro covers 800 km2, we have designed 6 different routes, so that you can explore each of the parts, observing every detail.

The price includes ONE of the six routes, which you will choose.

On each route you are given a different part of the book that our club published about the Battle of the Ebro.

The 6 routes from which you will choose one are:
  • To the left of the Ebro I
We travel through a part where the preparation began in this part of the river: Mora la Nova, La Figuera, Cantarranas and the end in Flix, a total of about 100 km.
  • To the left of the Ebro II From Flix we will travel along the Ebro on the right until we reach Mequinenza, the end of the route will be the Altos de los Auts, the place where the Republican troops arrived on July 25, 1938. Along the way we visit a large machine gun nest, mines coal...
  • Mequinenza, Sierra de la Fatarella, Vilalba dels Arcs, about 110 km of route in which we will cover a good part of the battlefield that saw the forces come and return, along the way impressive fortifications, command posts and defensive places.< /li>
  • Gandesa, Batea, Algars line, Gandesa
This time we will tour the rear of the battle and fortifications of the Algars line, we will stop at the abandoned town of Pinyeres and we will tour the bed of the Algars river with its spectacular formations, optionally you can take a bath, towards Gandesa we will stop at the Command Post of Franco's forces.
  • Gandesa, Horta de Sant Joan, Tossal del Engrillo, Serra de Cavalls, Miravet
About 110 km of route in which we travel from the rear to the mountains that offered the most resistance throughout the battle, the Pandols mountain range and the Cavalls mountain range, we will ascend to observation posts with views of almost the entire battlefield, The end of the route will be in Miravet, with a visit to the Templar castle whose stones suffered the effects of the conflict, currently restored.
  • Miravet, Corbera de Ebro, Camposines, Benissanet
Route of about 75 km, we cross the foothills of the Cavalls mountain range to Corbera de Ebro, we will ascend through the north of the town through mountains that preserve trenches and fortifications just as they were 74 years ago, we will stop at the monument of Camposines and crossing next to the Picosa peak we will reach Mora de Ebro, bordering the river we will reach Benissanet.
As for food, the idea is to eat on a picnic, so you should bring your own food for when we stop. The vehicles have a refrigerator.
