4x4 excursion to the Acebo Sanctuary and wine tourism

To begin this experience you will meet the guide in Cangas de Narcea, although it is also possible for us to go to the Parador Nacional de Corias. From here we are going to head towards the Port of Leitariegos.

In Puenticiella we take the exit towards Cobos and travel along a path that leads to the Sanctuary of Acebo. Here we are going to stop for 30 minutes.

While we are here, you will be able to enter the church to see its interior, and you will also be able to visit the well-known stall of a neighbor, María "la avellanera", where you can purchase the Holy Ribbons, a souvenir of the very popular sanctuary.

We are going to see the place where the most emblematic stage within the Vuelta Ciclista a Asturias competition ends. Generally the winner stands in this area.

We resume the route by jeep and head towards Vegalapiedra. We take the Pilarina highway and descend to Tebongo passing through off-road paths.

We will reach Villar de Tebongo, where there are traditional winemaking wineries. We will visit one of them where they explain how they convert the fruits of the vineyards in this area into delicious wines, thanks to ancestral techniques, and you will also be able to try some of these wines with the "cacho", a special bowl that is used for it. In addition, we will also offer you sausage and other regional products.

At the end of the tasting, we will return to the 4x4 and return to the starting point of the excursion, to finish.
