Deal overview
Join the Chapels route, in a 4x4 vehicle! It is an excursion that begins in Cangas de Narcea, although if you are staying near the Parador Nacional de Corias, we can also stay there.
Once we are ready, we will go to the Cascarín neighborhood, where the first chapel we will see on the route awaits us: that of San Antonio. After a stop to see it, we will return to the road and head to the Sierra del Pando. It is a path of great beauty, and to our right we will see the course of the Narcea River and to the left the Luiña River.
We will stop at the chapels of different towns, where the neighbors worship different saints, especially when the summer festivals arrive.
We will come across Magdalena and from there we will continue towards Trasmonte. We will reach the Coto mine, already dismantled. We will continue on the route, passing through Riotorno, Vidal, Piedrafita, Jalón or Gedrez, always with explanatory stops at places of interest.
We will continue towards Brañas de Narcea and we will be able to see the point where the Narcea River originates. We will also pass by the Hermo Monastery.
On the way back, we will make a last stop in Gedrez to visit a restaurant where they will serve us a delicious Asturian menu.
At the end of the meal, we will take you to the starting point, in Cangas de Narcea, and we will finish the activity.
