Welcome to The Climbing Works
Located in Sheffield, we are a premium climbing centre with the biggest bouldering wall in the UK.
We welcome and can cater for all abilities, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced climber, we have something for you. You can come and learn or imrpove on over 1500 square metres of climbing walls across 2 buildings. We have graded walls so you can make your climbing as challenging as you like. We also hold regular competitions during the winter months and offer free adult coaching sessions for those that are new to the sport.
We also welcome children at The Mini Works, the perfect place for kids to come and learn and get involved in this fantastic sport. We can even cater for birthday parties so they can enjoy climbing with friends, or they can come along to one of our courses during the summer holidays. We also have classes for children and teenagers aged 5-14 throughout the week.

How to get there?
There are numerous buses that go up Abbeydale Road from town, and many even go up Woodseats Road and stop virtually outside The Climbing Works. Numbers 75, 76 go up (and down) Woodseats Road, get off at the stop just after the railway bridge. Numbers 97, 98 go up Abbeydale Road, get off at the stop just after Woodseats Road. By Car: From City Centre: Follow the A621 (Abbeydale Road) for about 3 miles. Take the left at a set of lights with a left fork (this is Woodseats Road). Go over the railway bridge (look down on your left and you will see our sign) and take the 1st left (Athol Road – the PO sorting office is a good landmark). The road turns left immediately and miraculously turns into Little London Road. Turn left into the silver gates
