Welcome to Steve Smiths Shooting Ground

We have been operating since 1964, and have a wealth of experience in clay pigeon shooting. We are based just outside Dinnington, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Our ground is affiliated to the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association, and is only 1 of 2 grounds in Northumberland to be classified as a ´Premier´ ground.

We welcome all abilities, including complete beginners, more experienced shooters, those interested in competitions, and groups looking for corporate days and club shoots. We also welcome individuals looking to come along and practice. If you are new to shooting we can provide one to one basis teaching with our coach and ex-England International Shooter Jack Reed. Our ground is relaxed and has a friendly and welcoming environment.
