Mendukilo

For those who like to explore the underground worlds of Navarra, from the company Mendukilo we propose a guided route of 1 hour through the bowels of the Mendukilo Cave. A grotto adapted so that everyone can know the secrets of Astiz.

We start the visit with an audiovisual presentationl. To later take a tour of this cave located in the Larráun Valley. Our monitor will make you descend up to 40 meters so that you can see the three rooms, each one different from the previous one:

The one at the entrance will be Artzainzulo, a large illuminated room through which you will go down towards the center of the cave, until you reach the Laminosin room of which we highlight its great diversity of geological formations that we will come face to face with such as stalactites, gours, stalagmites,... And we will end in the enormous Dragon Abode about 60 meters long.

If you want to transform your guided tour into an authentic caving experience, we recommend our 2-hour program through which you can analyze and study the cave in depth. Bats are great travel companions.

It is important that you wear flat shoes to walk along the different walkways of the cave and warm clothing, because the interior temperature is about 8 – 9 ºC >. And that you reserve the activity in advance, because the visits are made for limited groups.
