The comprehensive music school of Burgos presents its summer activities:
-Musical Medley Camp
It is organized for boys and girlsfrom 7 to 16 years old, for whom it does not matter whether or not they have prior musical knowledge. You can register to spend with us from June 25th until the 2nd of the following month on a full board basis with stay and leisure activities. We will celebrate it in Burgos, at the Butrera Mill, known for its proximity to Ojo Guareña, a natural monument.
- Urban Musical Colonies
If you prefer that your little ones spend the night at home, they also have the opportunity to enjoy our urban version of our colonies, only during the day. They are aimed at boys and girlsfrom 3 to 7 years old, also with or without knowledge of music. The general schedule begins every day at 9 a.m. and extends until 2 p.m. in the month of July. Even so, we offer it to you with the flexibility you need so that you can reconcile this program with your work or tasks. In this case we will be in our school facilities, without leaving Burgos.

Comprehensive music school of Burgos Campamentos de Música is a company located in Burgos that offers music camps for children from 7 to 16 years old so that they come into direct contact with music.
Our camp is original and offers a different alternative to what we have seen until now. We have workshops where the child will learn to play an instrument with which he or she most identifies.
We have professional musicians and teaching experts, they will ensure that the child enjoys the games and activities we do. We will make music together with our new friends and we won't feel like little professionals for a few days.
The comprehensive music school offers you tailored and personalized learning, it is open cycle. With us the child will learn musical language, harmony, music history and specialize in an instrument.
These programs are carried out for fortnights and weeks from June 24, 2018 until Sunday, July 22, when the last shift will begin. The children will be on a full board basis at the El Molino de Butrera facilities. This will allow them to take advantage of the natural qualities of the Las Merindades region, which is located north of the province of Burgos.
Summary Urban camps
At the Burgos Comprehensive Music School we receive students between 3 and 8 years old in the month of July with the aim of having them participate in our urban colonies. We welcome them from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., on non-holiday days during the week, with absolute flexibility both to leave them with us and to come pick them up.
Throughout each day, you will participate in group sessions in which we will work on different aspects. The classes have been conceived thinking about those students who are accustomed to musical disciplines, also counting on those who have not had contact in this regard to be part of them. How will we do it?
- By raising awareness through music, dedicating ourselves to what we consider basic: early sensory stimulation. To achieve this, spontaneity from the rhythm and each melody will be important. They will sing pedagogical songs that will begin to create habits of vocal work.
- We intend for everyone to be an active part of the approach, so with stories, playful dynamics and musical performances, we will seek the development of their imagination.
- Motor skills must be taken into account in child development. We will use music to coordinate body movements. We will deal with those that are basic, learning to do them and identify them.
During school hours there will be times to rest and have lunch, which will also help us return to the classroom with renewed attention.
Summary Multi Adventure Camps
The most complete adventure for children and young music lovers is found at the Medley Musical Camp. It is a coexistence for participants between 7 and 16 years old, for which we have chosen the best possible natural location: Butrera and the surroundings of Ojo Guareña.
Our camp has all the details that in each edition, we have tested and improved, achieving a program of unique quality composed of:
- Accommodation in Molino de Butrera: we will be in a fine area that exceeds ten hectares, in the north of the province. You will sleep in rooms that sleep between 4 and 8 people, both in wooden cabins and in a hostel with great historical charm, since its original building dates back two centuries.
- Complete facilities: from classrooms for rehearsing and holding workshops on different topics, to sports courts and bathing areas that belong to the river. Stays of 15 days will have laundry and there is a permanent infirmary.
- Musical activities: the heart of our camp will be the classes, for 2 hours a day, to which are added the availability of teachers and spaces to rehearse. We will record a demo or shoot a video clip and receive a certificate of attendance at an intensive course certified by Medley. It will all end with a great evening concert before returning home.
- Adventure and tourism: we will try all kinds of sports, from canoeing to archery, and we will go on excursions and visit an environment of great natural value.
We will organize ourselves in the following shifts:
- One week in June, from the 25th to the 2nd.
- Two fortnights in July that will go from the 2nd to the 30th.
- One week in July from the 16th to the 23rd.
- The last week of July, between the 23rd and the 30th.

The Medley Music Camp takes place at the Butrera Mill. "El Molino de Butrera is located on a 13-hectare farm located in the Merindades region (North of Burgos).
