Albergue Melgar

At Melgar Hostel we open registration every summer for our Soccer Camps, which will be available in various shifts during the months of July and August. They are designed to serve students between 7 and 14 years old and are divided into stays of 8 days, 15 or 21.
This year we have 3 shifts

• From July 26 to August 2
• From August 2 to August 9
• From August 9 to August 16

The campus takes place in the facilities of the Melgar de Fernamental Hostel and in the town's sports areas. From the accommodation, just 200 meters away we have the entire complex where we will spend the summer enjoying with all our new companions. The food is homemade and is prepared every day.

- Soccer: In the morning with the coaches, soccer, technique, touches, ball, etc. will be practiced. We will finish with a dip in the pool before eating and in the afternoon more recreational activities, adventure, games, routes, gymkhanas and many new things.

- Environment: in this part of the province of Burgos the high daytime temperatures typical of summer drop significantly at night, which will facilitate our rest. In addition, our proximity to the Pisuerga River will allow us to try fun games such as giant inflatable balls, canoes or boats.

In the summer season you can help your children have fun while reinforcing their English at Tachuela Summer Camp, very playful English sessions in the mornings and activities in English. 4 hours a day of English and with many spaces to continue speaking and practicing while playing, in the evenings, on outings, in the gymkhanas.

At the Melgar Hostel in Fernamental we make it easy for your children to come into direct contact with English with a half-immersion English camp in which education and nature mix less than half an hour from Burgos.

- Every day we will dedicate 4 hours to English in the mornings with which we will practice the new vocabulary but above all we will work on oral expression, we want the children to get used to speaking in this language and understanding what they hear. Very dynamic, fun sessions with a lot of oral experience. We want them to learn while having fun.

- We will use the facilities of the hostel itself, a reference tourist accommodation, as accredited by the Junta de Castilla y León, in which the children will stay in shared rooms with 4, 6 or 8 beds in bunk beds.

- For meal time we have our own kitchen team, professionals who are in charge of cooking it daily based on the traditional Mediterranean diet with certain points of originality so that the students do not get bored.

- Once outside the hostel, the sports facilities will be at our disposal, the Canal de Castilla for water activities, routes, mountain biking, canoes, swimming pools and parks that will become the perfect setting for the games that we will propose. , outings, routes, orientation, archery and a lot of daily surprises.

- The English group will be independent and will carry out tomorrow's activities with their group, the monitors address them in English at all times and will ask them to answer in English.
