Agri Resort & SPA Poggio di MontedOro

The Agri Resort & SPA Poggio di MontedOro is an agritourism of five historic farmhouses on the Montedoro hill, just outside Montefiascone in the province of Viterbo and about 4 kilometers from Lake Bolsena. The lake is the largest in Europe of volcanic origin. This place belonged to Gianluca's grandparents, who today manages it and personally welcomes guests. In the national Agriturismo Italia classification we obtained the maximum score of five sunflowers.

In the renovated farmhouses with exposed wooden beams and terracotta floors we have created ten apartments furnished in rustic style, from the studio apartment for two to the three-room apartment for four people. In the grove next to the panoramic terrace there are the Glam Tent, solid wood tents with an internal bathroom designed for couples. All around you will find an oak and chestnut forest with olive trees, a porch overlooking Montefiascone, a barbecue and an outdoor swimming pool open from May to September.

The Lele Wellness SPA occupies approximately 150 square meters and can be booked privately at least 24 hours in advance. It includes the mini hydromassage pool and the hammam path with sauna, Turkish bath and emotional shower, as well as the ice waterfall and the winter garden with sun loungers and herbal tea room. In the massage cabin our staff works with natural cosmetics and also offers treatments with the lake's volcanic rocks and fossil peat.

We don't have a restaurant. Breakfast is included in our offers and for dinner we will show you the typical restaurants of Montefiascone and the villages overlooking the lake.

The entrance is located at kilometer 2.8 of the Verentana provincial road, right in front of the octagonal church of Santa Maria di Montedoro, and parking is private and free. Those arriving by train get off at the Montefiascone station in Zepponami and by notifying us 24 hours in advance we can organize the transfer to the farmhouse. The ancient Via Francigena passes a short distance away, which from Montefiascone continues towards Viterbo.
