Globos Arcoíris offers you a new way to delve into the Rioja wine culture, a balloon flight through the vineyards of the municipality of Haro, in the heart of the Ebro Valley.
An airspace that takes us through vineyards, wheat fields and river groves, in short a journey through the most beautiful landscapes of the Rioja Alta.
Our team is made up of great professionals from the hot air balloon world:
- Iván, 4-time champion of Spain and silver ('11) and bronze ('13) medals in the European ballooning championships
- Óscar, current Spanish record holder for longest distance traveled in a balloon.
Balloon flight requires certain protocol steps that guarantee the safety of the flight. Two days before the flight we will check the weather forecast to verify that the flight conditions are optimal, and based on the results we will contact you to confirm the flight.
- If the weather allows the flight, we will meet early in the morning, to take advantage of the light morning winds
- If the weather forecast is not good, we will be forced to postpone the flight date
We do not always take off from the same point, since we choose the ideal point according to the direction of the wind. Once in the air, we will fly for approximately 1h15' and to continue with the tradition we will toast with cava. After landing, all participants will collaborate to deflate the balloon. Finally, we will have a delicious typical Riojan breakfast (sausage, garden tomato, fried eggs... all washed down with local wine). At the end we will give you a diploma that certifies your aerial baptism in a hot air balloon

Everything was run very professionally and our pilot was super funny and was an awesome pilot! He got us a few inches over the water, a few feet off the rooftops and made the whole thing unbelievably cool. It all finished with a nice meal and the company sent us a bunch of cool pictures.
