Gordano Valley Archers

We are an archery company based on the county of Somerset. We firmly believe that archery can lead to entertainment while at the same time helping its participants to grow. This means that during the development of the activity, positive values such as empathy and focus are developed. Archery is therefore an inclusive practice that should be promoted at a national level.

Everyone can take part in our archery activities! They do not require previous experience. Indeed, archery is a really simple sport and once you have learnt its basic rules it is pretty simple to become an expert!

Under favourable conditions we host archery events every Sunday in our outdoor facility. Nevertheless, when there is rain or bad conditions we resort to our indoor fields. Our two main courses are:

• Beginners: We provide all the materials so that you learn how to practice archery under safe conditions. There are no age limitations. Nonetheless, we strongly advise parents to bring their children over seven years old, in order to ensure their total enjoyment.
• Coaching: Do you want to be an archery instructor in the near future? After this course you will be more skilful than Robin Hood!
