Avalon Archers

Avalon Archers, formerly known as Shuttleworth Bowhunters, is a brilliant field archery club near Sandy, Bedfordshire. Field archery consists in shooting targets set out through what is normally a woodland environment. At our location we enjoy shooting on grounds that are not open to the public and we are spoilt by the rich and lush trees of the forest.

NFAS affiliated, we run official shoots 12 times and year and members can enjoy shooting at multiple different events and with other members, enjoying archery itself and socializing in the great outdoors.

We are starting to offer beginner´s courses at our club from qualified NSAC instructors. Once these new potential archers have joined the NSAC, they can enjoy our coaching and introduction to this sport.
