Welcome to Mid-Anglia School of Flying, a brilliant place to learn how to fly. Going up in a light aircraft is an exhilarating, fascinating and amazing experience that most of us have dreamt about, but too few have actually done! We’d like to redress that balance.

Based at Cambridge City Airport since 1996, we offer taster flights and a wide range of lessons (from JAR, PPL, Night flying to name a few) with professional and friendly instructors. Our fleet is made up of Piper aircraft, including Warrior, Challenger and Archer models. They are reliable, 4-seater planes which we maintain to the highest standard.

If you’ve never flown a plane before, we welcome you to have this life-changing experience with us by booking a trial lesson. We offer lessons of 30, 45 and 60 minutes which include a brief “ground-school” session and a flight in which you’ll take control of the aircraft under the supervision of your pilot-instructor.
