We are a long-established flying school based at Cambridge City Airport. Our aircraft are Piper models, light aircraft with 4 seats and - essential for learners - dual controls.

You’ll spend this 30-minute trial flight with an experienced instructor. After pre-flight checks, briefings and a video, they’ll welcome you into the plane and talk you through the flight. Once in the air, control will be passed to you for a portion of the flight.

In this 45-minute experience, you’ll be guided by a professional flight instructor. There will be an introductory video briefing and pre-flight checks, then the instructor will arrange take-off with air traffic control and you’re off!

We use Piper 4-seat aeroplanes for these experiences. They are reliable, high-performance and great for aerial sightseeing. Our models also feature dual controls, which allow the instructor to hand over control of the plane to you for a section of the flight while making sure that you are both safe.

You’re in luck! We offer trial flights to complete newcomers to aviation at our flight school, run by professional pilots with decades of experience.

In the space of just one hour, you’ll go from the ground to the skies, taking control of a plane. This is thanks to our dual-control Piper aircraft and flight instructors. You will have control of the plane for part of the flight, while the plane is airborne and conditions are good.
