Aerodromo de la Cerdanya

We plan through the Pyrenean peaks and valleys of Girona thanks to the non-motorized flights that we offer from Aerodromo de la Cerdanya, with which you can enjoy a high altitude experience like never before.

The flight center from which we depart is located at the Cerdanya aerodrome, near Puigcerdá. Ourlight aircraft are the best vehicle to marvel at the aerial panoramic views of the Sierra de Cadí-Moixeró and other mountain ranges in this part of the Pyrenees.

With our first flight experiences or baptisms we will learn how a two-seater airplane works, another plane takes us up to the heights and from there we launch and glide through the air.

The pilot will be seated in the back so that you, from the front, have the best view of the first-person flight, enjoying unique sensations that you will want to repeat again and again.

The flights we have will range from 15 minutes to 1 hour in duration, so you will only have to choose the route time that best suits what you are looking for and enjoy this unique experience.

To do autonomous flights and become a pilot we have initiation and glider courses that train you and give you the experience and flight hours you need with theoretical and practical classes. Of course, you will need to be 16 years old.

At theCerdanya Aerodrome we have light plane flights andcoursesso that you can learn to fend for yourself in the skies and strong>fly over areas of the Pyrenees such as Cadí or the Cerdanya valleys.

Our team has more than 50 years of experience training all types of pilots. For this reason, we suggest that you come and meet us, because our excursions will not leave you indifferent and, in addition, in some of them you can be a pilot for a day and be the one who controls the plane yourself.

We develop initiation courses as well as other private airplane pilot courses with an important theoretical and practical load so that you come out fully prepared.

You will acquire the necessary notions for takeoff, landing, turns and traffic behavior at airports and aerodromes.

The introductory course includes basic learning of everything you need to know about aerodynamics, the use of the plane, the way of communication with the base, meteorology, etc. After giving theoretical classes, we will teach you practice, first with one of our expert pilots and then we will put you to the test so that you can do it alone.

Once you have passed the relevant tests, you can obtain the qualification and fly whenever you want.

You must be over 16 years old to be able to start the course as well as have minimum physical skills.

Theflight school at the Cerdanya aerodrome in the Girona Pyrenees is the place where you can get behind the controls of an ultralight strong> and learn to pilot it with our initiation courses.

The course will provide you with the main knowledge about the behavior of these devices and their handling in several theoretical classes.

Next you can practice in the air with two flight classes of 45 minutes each in the area of Cerdanya and Sierra de Cadí.

The pilot course goes beyond the initiation course and is intended to train expert ultralight pilots. It can be done from the age of 16.

Abundant theory on aerodynamics, aerial legislation, meteorology, aircraft operation, communications, etc.

The flight hours will have a minimum of 12 hours in the Tecnam P2002 Sierra ultralight, a new generation model.
