Adventure sports are not only at their peak but also evolving with new, even more thrilling variations.
Take skydiving, for example, which includes disciplines like B.A.S.E. jumping, where participants leap from fixed objects at height and have mere seconds before parachute deployment. But did you know there are even more extreme variations?
Have you heard of skysurfing?
Skysurfing is one of the most astonishing skydiving variations—why? Picture this: you board a plane with full skydiving gear, peer out the door, and... leap while strapped to a snowboard!!!

To attempt this extreme sport, you’ll need at least 200 skydives under your belt and experience in disciplines like freefly or freestyle. The real thrill lies in performing mid-air acrobatics during freefall.
Typically, boards vary in size and shape based on the skysurfer’s skill level: beginners use boards around 80cm with bindings similar to snowboards. As you progress, you can switch to advanced models.

Mastering parachute deployment requires rigorous practice with board positioning. Ideally, keep your body straight and tilt the board’s nose forward—but cautiously, as over-tilting may cause uncontrolled spins.
The best part? Gaining enough expertise to pull off flips, rotations, and tricks. Remember: this is one of skydiving’s most challenging disciplines, but also the most exhilarating.
