When we think of tourism, we associate it with the typical museum-hopping, monument-to-monument visits, or beach-hopping. That's all well and good – after all, culture is one of a country's greatest assets, and as the saying goes, "knowledge takes up no space." But what if we did something different? What if we tried active tourism?

Feel the vertigo in an amusement park

We encourage you to discover the themed parks in the city you're visiting or even in your hometown, as often what we know least is what's right on our doorstep. You'll find a wide variety of places to experience not only thrilling adventures but also encounter animals or plants you wouldn't otherwise have the chance to see up close.

We can guide you through different options, but the final choice is yours – pick whichever catches your eye. It'll be a tough decision, but we know it'll be worth it:

  • Aquariums. Lovers of aquatic environments will be delighted visiting one of these themed parks, as the variety of marine species they'll encounter here can't be found anywhere else – not even in the finest zoos. A place of leisure, entertainment, and education for the whole family, young and old. Specimens of all kinds coexist in harmony, and the facilities let you explore different settings where magic is ever-present.

  • Water parks. When summer arrives, there's nothing better than visiting one of these centres, where you can escape the heat and relax in the most original way. You'll find attractions for all ages, turning your day out into an unforgettable experience. Don't miss this chance to cool off while enjoying everything you'll need for the day: changing rooms, dining areas, dedicated children's zones... Check out our feature on Aquopolis.
  • Amusement parks. Looking for fun? Need to say goodbye to stress? Want to experience adrenaline-pumping thrills? If you answered yes to any of these, then look no further – what you want is an amusement park. Ups, downs, speed, themed areas... Everything you need is at your fingertips, and you'll enjoy a truly unforgettable day out with friends or family.
  • Children's play parks. Need to "disconnect" from the kids for a few hours? Have important errands but don't know where to leave the children? Unsure how to celebrate your little one's birthday? For these and any other child-related dilemmas, play parks were invented. Here, kids can socialise with peers, boost psychomotor development, expand their skills, and grow in independence and initiative... Learning and fun go hand in hand at these centres.

  • Zoological parks. Who doesn't love animals? You might be more or less interested, but one thing's clear – they're part of our lives, and at least for one day at the zoo, we should get closer to them. The incredible diversity of wildlife on our planet is astounding, and thanks to these parks, we can explore a world that might otherwise remain unknown. Interacting with animals is undoubtedly an experience not to be missed.
  • Safaris. A tour through the hidden corners of our region's natural parks will deliver incredible sensations – especially when surrounded by animals of all species in their wildest state. A safari lets you observe animals in complete freedom: their habits, behaviours, and interactions... The ecosystem, more alive than ever, will show you how flora and fauna thrive in harmony.
