1. "Los Cortados de Villalba" Canyon

Located 3km from Villalba de la Sierra, the "Los Cortados de Villalba" canyon features one of the most spectacular sections of the Júcar River. The adventure begins at Ventano del Diablo and ends within the Júcar canyon.
The scenery is breathtaking, suitable for descents in spring, summer and autumn; you'll enjoy rapids, natural slides and jumps with the whole family.
2. "Hoz Somera" Canyon

Located in the Cuenca mountains, this descent begins in Carrascosa de la Sierra. Along the route you'll see turquoise waters coming from the gorges formed by the Guadiela River. Perfect for sporty types and can be done year-round. Absolutely top-notch!
3. Portilla Canyon
Most recommended for beginners wanting to try canyoning, featuring several rappels with a notably narrow final section. Located in the area known as "Estrecho del Gollizno".

4. Majadas Canyon
The Majadas Canyon is longer than Portilla's, with 10 rappels and some jumps. Just a few kilometres from Villalba de la Sierra, it's suitable for all skill levels.

5. Poyatos Canyon

Finally, this magnificent canyon is in Serranía Alta de Cuenca, near Poyatos village which gives it its name. It has a steady flow but is best attempted with an experienced guide if you're new to the activity.
