Have fun in a different way, as throughout this 10 km obstacle marathon (at least 1 obstacle per kilometre) you'll encounter countless surprises... in full colour!!
Another highlight of the race is that there will be costumes involved and special prizes for those wearing fun outfits. The route type will include uphill and downhill sections with mixed terrain, on asphalt and cross-country, and participants will have to overcome certain obstacles that will have everyone laughing.
Out of the €12 registration fee, €1 will go directly to the "For a Smile in Africa" foundation. The NGO will distribute essential supplies to various communities with high poverty levels across the African continent. A charitable initiative that has been collecting smiles since 2009.
Regarding the race's objectives, for every euro donated, food will be delivered to children in several villages in Senegal, helping to combat child malnutrition. The NGO will also provide necessary medicines for each child and support educational improvements to help secure a better future.
The NGO is focused on different villages in Senegal to support non-traumatic and sustainable development in the region. Projects in healthcare, education, agriculture, livestock and poultry farming are underway, but they need help from people like you.
Run for a Smile
Anyone over 18 years old can participate in the race, or minors with parental or guardian authorisation. Participants only need to complete one lap of the course, starting from the Tres Cantos Fairgrounds (Madrid), and there will be different prizes for the top 3 finishers in both the general male and female categories.
Additionally, all categories will receive trophies for best collective, paired and individual costumes, as well as a prize draw among all participants.
